I have often felt like an underdog in different situations at work, because I did not believe that I had the “specific education” that would make me a specialist. I believed I needed “label” as a proof of my skills.
The way I see it today is, that I honestly believe I would have missed out on SO MANY opportunities and experiences in my life if I had been a specialist. I would not have dared to switch careers in my 30-ies, and accept new, unknown opportunities because I would have been to scared of not being good enough – expert as an identity.
As a result of my different career moves I have learned in “real life” school that there are more than one way to do-things- right, and I have a CV that I am proud of. I feel inspired and privileged when I go…
